Synopsis
ALTEC – Aerospace Logistics Technology Engineering Company – is the Italian reference company for engineering and logistical support to the International Space Station and planetary exploration missions.
In preparation for the ExoMars mission, ALTEC set up an important mission control facility and simulation of the Rover’s operation on the Martian surface, and entrusted Digitalcomoedia with the task of creating a promotional video to share the results of the initiative with entities not directly connected to the project.

Our work
The CGI video fulfilled the task of showing in a photorealistic way the simulation facility, built in Turin, and illustrating its features and capabilities. The most demanding challenge the 3D Team faced was to faithfully recreate the Rover, so that its appearance, movement and behaviour in relation to the environment were flawless.
Given the fascinating and futuristic nature of the subject matter, a narrative path was taken that achieves the goal of emotionally involving the viewer, placing the Rover itself in the role of the ‘living’ protagonist of the film.
